We have had a busy few days at Grammy and Grandpa's house! We Processed moose meat for the last two days. The weather was perfect for all of the projects that needed to be done, we had some sun and it was not too cold. The second day was also Grandpa's birthday. The day started with cleaning berries with Grammy.
Haley was a good sport and spent a few hours each day helping to put meat scraps into the scrap bucket. We all took turns here and there to help her pick berries and swing and play but she was able to entertain her self for the most part.
She is always eager to help Grandpa "Fix". She had just got up from her nap and sang Happy Birthday to Grandpa without prompting. We had practiced before she went to sleep and she did not forget! I think he was pretty tickled!
Grandpa got a dog for his birthday. Their good friends, Kenny and Wanda gave them one of their pups and Wanda flew from Colorado to make the personal puppy delivery. Haley was excited but not sure what to think. Grandpa named the puppy Cocoa. Wanda also gave Haley several gifts and they all came in handy on our trip to visit Ern. One gift was a moose that we named "Wanda", Haley loves the moose and you will see it show up in later pictures!
