We have been having a great time here in Wisconsin. It is so nice to see Grandma and Aunt Jane and the rest of friends and family. Haley has played outside every day and has had so much fun playing in the mud and dirt. She has had great experience shopping for flowers but needs more practice with her planting technique. Haley loves to check it all out but has decided that she is afraid of bugs - especially the ants! You can see from the pictures below that she is a fun little bundle of energy and everyone has had a turn at chasing her around!

Haley was glad to see Grammie and gave her a big hug when she first saw her. My mom has great stuff in her yard and Haley loves to climb around and check it all out. She loved her new tractor but she won't reach the peddles till fall ( if we are lucky!) Still, it seems she has the most fun checking out the neighbors 'unique' wild life yard art!

Aunt Jane has been very good about introducing Haley to lots of new things. Like chocolate, blowing bubbles in the house, swinging in the rain, and playing outside in PJs before bed! Haley has loved every minute of it. Aunt Jane is very proud of teaching Haley a new word: 'Aunt Jane'...it does sound pretty cute!
Every Day Brings A New Adventure!

I have needed a nap more than Haley! She is non stop full of energy. She is so excited to explore and find new things and has a very 'special' loud pitched shreek or 'distinct' raspy grunt to let you know what she has discovered. She was so excited to show me a piece of Grandma's yard art that she brought it to my face while I was taking her picture and knocked part of my front tooth off! I made a quick and unexpected trip to the dentist yesterday for some patch work. Later that day Haley had a hard fall on the sidewalk and did a good job on the outside of her lip and the inside as well. I was so glad to see that all of her cute little teeth were still there

I was picturing the two of us returning home and greeting Ernie with toothless smiles and the reception that we might have gotten!
Haley still loves boots. Mom saved the red boots that my Grandma got for me in Switzerland when I was Haley's age and it has been so fun to watch her walk around in them. They are big enough to fit her Pj Feet bottoms and she wears them for her pre-bedtime outings.

It has been so good to be here but we do miss Ern and will be happy to see him!!!!!!!!!

Joselynn and Haley, Grammy Annie had so much fun with the both of you, going to the park, planting flowers, going to the greenhouse and just being together. I love you both very much and Joselynn, our time together was wonderful, just talking and being Mother and Daughter. I love you both so very much and look forward to the fall trip.
Love
Mom
