At The Fair!
We Have started a Tradition of going to the fair with Grandma and Grandpa Finch. Grandpa's birthday is always near that time so Haley will him and offer to take him to the fair for his Birthday. She is pleased to show him around before she buys him an ice cream for the trip home! I am happy they want to go. The kids love them and all things farm related. They are little enough where the rides are secondary to the overall experience. Grandma and Grandpa grew up on farms in Minnesota and continue to do organic gardening here in Alaska and they love taking the time to teach the kids the fun details about the animals and how our food really gets to the table.

Don't get me wrong! Haley is normal! As soon as Kai was ready for his nap Grandma whisked him away in his stroller to a distant quiet spot. Then it was time for cotton candy, frog fishing with grandpa, and rides. She was very proud of her self for going down the giant slide by her self for the first time. Never mind the guy at the top had to give her a little shove off the edge after her one minute fear factor hesitation. After that she was over it and very proud. So proud that she went for a second time.
The highlights for Kai's first fair trip were looking at the baby chickens and everything wheel related!
