Tuesday Night Races
Haley invited her friends to race with her. We saw Owen for ten seconds at the start and then met up with him again at the finish. Haley did great for her second race and ran two miles in about 35 minutes with just two short 'catch your breath' stops. She has been enjoying the book, "The Little Engine That Could" and would chime in the rhythm of her feet, "I 'sink I can, I 'sink I can, I 'sink I can!" I had so much fun watching her that I forgot that I too, was tired! She has perseverated a great deal on why she should go if she does not win and she does not even get anything when she crosses the finish line. One thing she does know is that she is excited to race again next week.
