On Mushrooms and Moose

I wish I could draw just 'straight up' pretty things but I cant help but draw the things I am often surrounded by. When you get close enough to raw nature to smell the after burn of it's re-synthesis, a whole new beauty can be found in the minute shapes, colors and cracks. The skulls are a recent find. They belong to two bull moose that locked horns while fighting and sealed their fate to a slow death together. The mushrooms are the type you find growing on the trunks of trees. Haley loved them and is going to put them in the rock garden. My kids don't know any different - they actually think this stuff is fun. Stinky at times - but - fun!
About That Cow
(A Final Note)
Tough as Haley is - she has a very soft heart. She will never eat that cow. I guess it will sit on her shelf until it begins to smell or attract bugs or something....!

Those skulls are an amazing find. Wow. The mushrooms are great, too. Huge! Have you seen FinderMaker's tutorial for making them into little shelves? Very cool stuff.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm happy to have followed you here.
