Grandma and Grandpa shared the picture and and story with Haley that a moose had slept in the back yard and was looking for a way to get over the fence to swing on the swings. Haley loved the story and insisted on staying the night at their house to see if the moose would return. We got a call early this morning from them. Grandpa says her brain works over time and is always two steps ahead. Bed time was not as early or as easy as they had hoped for. Haley was getting curlers in her hair with grandma and getting ready for church and already planning on spending another night! Grandpa admits that she is wrapped around his finger and "special"! I bet they will have a nice long nap in their 80 degree sun room after their drop off today!!!! I bet Haley will have a nice nap too!!!!And Then There is the Cute BOY!!
I took a ton of six month photos, some turned out soooo cute! I only wish I had wiped all the squash out of his nose before we began! He was dressed and ready to meet his sister and grandparents for lunch and he was truly glad to see her! She had so much spending the night with the grandparents that she asked to stay another night! We told her we would miss her and wanted her back for the night and she is currently happily chatting with her dollies through her quiet time! Kai has changed allot in the last week. He is only getting up once a night and practices all of his new words and syllables at one in the morning and then again at around 5:30am he is sitting up for longer and longer periods and is starting to joke and tease back. He loves the sound of his voice as he wheezes air down into his lungs. It appears to be his sound of extreme pleasure and you hear it allot when you feed him his pears but not his pees!
