cabin trip part two

There is always an endless list of tasks to do each visit to the cabin. The first day was filled with a morning of looking for antlers and a bit of tree clearing.
Some of the trees grow a tough fungus that is literally part of the mushroom family. Ern has a buyer for some of them. We told Haley that she could gather them up and sell them to ern her money to buy a bike. At First she was excited but had so much fun collecting them she stated, "But I don't want to spend my mushrooms!" Time is always made for a bit of play. Kai had so much fun trying to catch the make-shift dolly swing. It was awesome that it could hold his attention span for at least ten minutes!Catch it if you can!And then there was real swing time out side. Haley was pretty proud of her stand up moves as Ern and I crossed our fingers and hoped the tattered rope would hold and vowed to get a new one before our next trip to the cabin!
