Spaghetti And Snowballs

Haley would still rather pull than be pulled. Last year she pulled her dollies but this year she has been pulling Kai and now has upgraded her challenges to pull her dad.
There is not much to see of the little guy. It was cold and there are several layers under there that you would not believe. I should have taken pictures of my winter socks layered over the leg holes of his new 12 month snow suit and the same for his hands. I Minni camouflage hat tucked inside his hood, a pacifier for his mouth and a blanket under the last top two layers.
All was fine as long as the sled kept moving!
It is a tipsy set up for bumps with the car seat strapped to the bargain sled but lucky for us - he only tipped over twice today and the handle serves as a pretty good roll bar!
After all that hard pulling it was time to sit down for a dinner of pretend spaghetti and snowballs. On the way home she was singing and said she was singing her summer words. Then she sang some more and said they were her winter words but she did not have any words left because she gave them all away. I asked her who she gave them to.
She said, "I don't have any words to tell you!"
We thought all the fresh air and exercise would wear the kids out but we were wrong!Haley is up in her room for her nap time singing Happy Birthday as we speak and Kai is watching his first Baby Einstein movie after his ten minute cat nap. - I know the research shows it does not increase their IQ! The movement pleases him and when he is pleased we are all happy!
Ern and I committed to a movie tonight even if we both sleep through it!
