Side Tracked!!!!

The sewing machine never had its switch flipped yesterday but my beads made their first debut in Haley's world. This photo was taken just minutes after - "Mammmmaaaaaa" - was uttered from her room after nap time yesterday. She was picking out the colors that she wanted to make a necklace for her cousin Maggie's birthday. I knew I would be in for a mess of beads once I introduced them to her so I gave her two that wouldn't matter if they had a bit of permanent blending and mixing. It was worth it, we both enjoyed our time and she is so proud and excited to make something for Maggie who lives in Mongolia. Did I now ruine the simple pleasures of Cherio necklace making? I hope Not! Side Tracked? Or just another day in the life of being a Mom?.........
