It looks all fun but truth be told it is much harder to pull 30 pounds up hill rather than flat ground. We ran into Kai's nap time and he cried all the way up the trial. We cut our losses and decided to turn back early so that the ending could be fun rather than push forward for a complete misery trip for all! Haley had a fun ride down with her dad and Kai napped in the car on the way home and then went for a nice long walk at home with me - on flat ground!
