We delayed most of Haley's gift opening and party till Ern made it back in town. She requested carrot cake but I don't think she really knew what she was asking for. She liked the frosting but really wanted nothing to do with the actual cake! As usual she received more than enough gifts! Ern and I gave her a tent and binoculars. Grandpa gave her a stuffed pheasant that makes bird calls. Uncle Todd gave her a 'pink wedgie'. Grandma gave her Carrots from the root cellar. She was very excited to put her birthday money in her bank from Grammie Annie. The play dough toys from Aunt Jane have been a big hit. That is just the tip of the ice burg! Thanks again Everyone!
Three has been a big number she has really grown and changed in the last month. She is very smart and very challenging and stubborn at times. But she is also so sweet, hard working, and very funny. I think I just described the traits of Ern and I - HUMMMM!!!! LOL
The first time she got to pick out her own gift with her own money! Thanks Nanna Boop!Its not surprising she went straight to the dolly section!
