We got out to enjoy another great October day. Both of the kids appear glad to be outside when they get the chance. Haley is a very good big sister and is eager to know when Kai can join her in all of her activities. She was wanting to show him so much on the trial but he just was not interested! She is the typical 2-3 year old. She knows when there are times in the house to be quiet and that seems to be when she is the most loud. She often wants my help with things when I am sitting down and feeding Kai and she often has lots to say and to ask when Ern and I are attempting to talk with each other! We are all adjusting!LOL! Kai is doing great and was approximately 9 pounds now. He is on a pretty regular eating and feeding schedule now and it only improves by the day! He has not smiled yet but it seems like he is thinking about it and makes more and more cute little noises by the day.
We get such a kick out of Haley, she is a little rock hound. She always picks them up and wants to bring them home and as she grows the rocks she picks out get bigger and bigger. She is very proud to toat a big rock under her coat so her hands would not get cold and carry that and several others on the walk.
Kai always looks so peaceful when he is out but he always closes his eyes and blocks out the view till he is safe back at his own home. As soon as I set him down at home he begins to have things to say. - like "Feed Me!"
There were a few cranberries on the trail. Looking for them is like hunting for little treasures on the ground and we all enjoy it.
She wont eat a banana but she will eat any berry weather it is dusty, sour, mushy, or fermented from last year!
