Kai had his six week check up and he is doing well. He is 10.08 pounds and 22 inches which puts him at the 50% mark on the charts. He is two pounds heaver and two inches longer than Haley was at that age. I can feel the difference every time I carry him in his car seat!!!! He is such a good sweet baby! We are still waiting for some sounds and giggles but I think he is starting to show some small signs of pleasure. He is very strong and has good neck control and never makes a peep when we are outside. He likes people close to him and still often squawks if he hears my voice too far away from him in another room. Haley is doing great and likes to help and sit near him and hold him when she can, it is still a big adjustment for her to share the love!! She has been mostly focused on her dad and trying to make up for lost time with him from this summer! Ern says he had more sleep and rest when he was away at camp - but he says it with a smile and a twinkle in his eyes!
We are not seeing any real smiles yet but we will take what we can get!--- Even if its Gas bubbles!---
