Fun At The Park With New Neighborhood Friends

We have enjoyed spending some with a few families that live down the street. It was another great sunny day and they called some other moms in the neighborhood for a last minute play date at the play ground. It takes a while for Haley to get comfortable but it is really fun to watch her once she forgets about Mom and starts interacting with others and just being her self!

It is also fun for to have a little "stroller company"! Andrew is the cute little red head that is just a few months younger than Haley.
Practicing Social Skills!
We were happy to have a play date invite with Jenny and her daughter Sarah. They are so close in age and it is fun to watch them grow in their abilities to play and communicate each time we get together.

Aren't they cute!

Sarah is way ahead of Haley when it comes to understanding the dynamics of a "give - take" relationship. Haley can be pretty loud and clear when she expresses her displeasure and resistance to sharing. Sarah is looking at Haley screaming and appears that she does not quite know what to think! All and all it was a very nice evening!
Ice Cream Party at Grammy and Grandpa's House!

Haley was very excited to see her cousins today and talked about them the whole drive out to Grandmmy and Grandpa's house. Haley is hanging out with her cousin Cameron in the picture above.

There were peas, berries and carrots to pick and munch on before ice cream.

Haley loves all her cousins as do I and the pictures easily speak for some of the reasons why!

And then came the ice cream. One helping was plenty but Grandpa decided Haley needed two more helpings. We missed nap today and spent the rest of the evening at home outside. It wad a great sunny evening and Haley had some extra sugar energy to burn off.

And then it was time for bed!!!!
