Off to Nushagak Fish Camp

This is the place we will call home for the until July 10. This is Nushagak point and it is a few miles directly across from Dillingham. We took this picture last year as we were flying in to land. The very white cabins in the middle of the picture are the finch family cabins. You can see them a bit more clearly in the picture below.
The picture above is from a few years back when Cameron and Abby also came out. It is a pretty simple way of living out there! Each year we have lucky to have a break with fishing and good enough weather to fly the half hour out to the Bearing Sea. It is always a treat to beach comb and see what treasures you can find! I hope we get the chance to get back there again this year! Ern has been gone for 2 weeks not and he is very excited to see his baby!
Take What You Can Get!
Today we took advantage of the warmth of the sun out of the wind and played in the puddle at the end of the drive way. The water was warm and Haley played there for an hour. It would be nice if it was a picture by some great beach on a nice lake. We were just happy to get what we got!
