Haley and I had time together today to work on her dolly quilt. I already had some scraps cut out with the iron on glue backing from my quilt. I bought her some purple fabric for the back and trim at walmart for a few dollars because that is her favorite color lately. I told her she could put the pieces any where she wanted but had to leave room at the edges for her trim and space between them to sew. She put all of them on by her self! I only helped her move some away from the edges and rotated the square so she could reach it all. I love how she put them on. She had not interest in helping me iron stating, "Maby when I'm bigger". 
She helped me do the pinning while playing with her train and watching her favorite movie, "The Incredibles". She is pretty excited to have a new quilt for her dolls and is already planning out her next project!
I have been plugging away at my project also and getting a few steps closer to finished. I would do it all different if I started again but I have enjoyed learning quite a bit with this.
