Happy BirthdayHaley!

Birthday Girl!

My Little girl is growing up! I am excited for four but I am so sad to see Three go. She is still so innocent and says the sweetest things. Today was not a day to celebrate. We all ended up with food poisoning yesterday and it was not a pretty site around the house the last 24 hours. Kai spent the day being well cared for by Grandma and Grandpa finch. Haley and I snuggled on the couch most of the day and made our own movie marathon as we took turns slipping in and out of sleep.
She was pretty much her old self early evening and diligently worked at making birthday hats and thank you cards for her gifts.
Gratefully, her official birthday celebration was not scheduled today. She knows that her gifts and birthday cake happen when here daddy can be her to celebrate also!
Recovery day!

I Am One Year Old Today!

Happy Birthday Kai Kai!
(A special thanks to Andy)
In The Morning!
Today was just another day in the world with Kai. His official celebration will be when his Dad and more family are here to celebrate with him. We had a great day spending time with friends and Kai managed to open a gift or two today from awesome people who really know what a little boy needs. Thank you!!
He is switching over to one nap in the afternoon lately and that has given us more opportunities to be social with friends. He has six official teeth and is currently working on a few more! He is capable of standing on his own for countable seconds and has stumbled an impressive seven steps in a row on his own. He clearly likes having other kids around. He is the youngest in the mixes and has been getting lots of opportunities to practice his assertive skills!
In The Afternoon...
In The Evening...
My Little Boy

I can't believe that His first year has gone by. I remember the days right before and after he was born like it was yesterday! In some ways he is so similar to the day he was born! He is loves excitement, people, and anything that moves or makes noise. It is so easy and pleasing to coax smiles from him, but when he is mad - he is very very mad! He is very special and when I look into those big brown eyes with those lashes like his daddy my heart melts!
